SmartGeometry 2009

Got to go to San Francisco for the SG conference - learnt a few tricks in GC and spent the workshop time trying to connect it with C# express edition. The final project combined some experiments from my final year project 2008 - with some notes on Gaudi's parametric rules.
Where to go next? Would like to put in the rules for columns and vaults and it would also be cool to be able to animate the growth sequence.

Hi Check out www.genometri.com genoform is a generative design software that could do the same.

Genoform looks interesting - will have a play with it - cheers for the link.

One of the problems tho - in the consequent development of the system, is that while the forms have now been simplified to boxes (for now) we're trying to link in more energy/lighting analysis software which is easier to do from the position of a programming IDE.

Genoform does not need any programing. It can output the files in various formats. Look forward to the results for your future work.
